Welcome aboard, Captain! Desktop

Jolly Roger is a pirate-themed Discord game that turns your server into a world of treasure hunts, ship battles, and adventures.

Collect coins, build up your ship, discover valuable gear, hunt for treasure, and battle rival captains as you compete for the top spot on your server’s leaderboard.

Getting Started

Use /setup to choose the channel where Jolly Roger events should appear. Once setup is complete, treasure events will begin spawning there automatically.

Players can join in at any time by typing the trigger word shown in a coin event. 

💡 Use /help at any time to open the Jolly Roger help menu.

Coin events

Coin events appear randomly in your chosen Jolly Roger channel.

Follow the instructions shown in the event to claim coins.

But be quick! Another captain might get there first.

Events can reward:

• Coins

• Gear & Equipment

• Map Pieces

Once you collect your first coins, you’ll receive your own ship and unlock more ways to play.

Your Ship & Gear

Every captain needs a ship!

Use /ship to check your ship’s health, coins, and equipped battle gear. You can even give your ship its own name with /name-ship.

Visit /shop to spend your coins on battle equipment, adventure gear, and repairs, then use /inventory to manage everything you’ve collected or bought.

Keep an eye out for Nelly!

Nelly’s Merchant Ship appears at random for a limited time. Her changing stock can include discounted equipment and adventure gear, and rare magical items.

You can also trade unwanted gear to Nelly for coins.

Battle Rival Captains

Think another captain has been getting a little too rich?

Use /spy to scout their ship or /attack to challenge them to battle.

Equip your ship before fighting to gain useful advantages. Different equipment can increase damage, defend your ship, improve your plunder, or trigger special effects.

Win the battle to plunder your enemy's coins. You might even steal valuable cargo and map pieces.

Embark on Adventures

Coin events can uncover pieces of mysterious maps.

Collect all 4 pieces belonging to a map and you’ll unlock a new adventure.

Use /adventure to embark on interactive treasure hunts where your choices matter. Bringing the right adventure gear can improve your chances of finding treasure. 

Successful adventures can reward coins, gear, and other valuable items.

Commands

/setup - Set up Jolly Roger in your server

/help - Open the in-game help menu

/ship - View your ship

/name-ship - Give your ship a name

/shop - Buy gear, equipment, and repairs

/inventory - View and manage your items

/spy - Scout another captain’s ship

/attack - Challenge another captain

/adventure - Embark on an unlocked adventure

/leaderboard - View the richest captains
